Washer won't start or spin? A cracked plunger guide tube prevents the lid switch from engaging. This tube realigns the plunger for reliable operation.
I replaced the switch, the plunger, plunger guide and the lid cam, but the cam still didn't turn on the switch. Turned out someone had stood on the washer and bent the lid slightly, not enough to notice, but since I had ruled out just about everything else I started looking at the lid itself. Watched the video on how to replace. Ordered new roller, which was delivered in just a couple of days. Since the roller had broke, I was unable to roll out the refrigerator, so I tilted the refrigerator back and placed a small furniture slider under the roller frame to prevent gouging the wood floor.
