Replacement 3/8-16 nut that secures bolts and threaded shafts in appliance assemblies. Needed when original nut is stripped, lost, or corroded.
Weekend laundry became very noisy, our 1987 Whirlpool washer began doing a dance across the floor and the drum was banging into the inner cabinet. After doing some research and watching a few videos on Appliance parts pros website. I inspected the washer and noticed one leg the rubber coating disintegrated, decided to change all four legs, springs and lid switch. Hardest part of the job is getting the cabinet together. Ops check good. Read more

Stainless steel mounting screw for refrigerator interior components. Replaces lost, stripped, or corroded screws during appliance repairs or maintenance.
I simply removed and replaced the bake element and light bulb. The only difficulty I had was working around the open oven door. I relied on the Appliance Parts Pros videos for procedures on how to do this safely and correctly. I would not have attempted this repair without the videos. The only problem I had was the $5 screws ($10 for the two I purchased) were not the same type as the original scews and they did not "grip" the oven wall properly so I had to re-use the original screws which were... Secures the wash basket to the center shaft. Replace if stripped, cracked, or missing to prevent tub movement and noise. Left-hand thread design.
I took the wash basket out of the tub to remove all the sludge and scale that had accumulated over the years. But I did not have a spanner wrench to remove the large nut holding the basket to the center shaft. No problem - I used a hammer and chisel on the ears. But didn't realize it was a LEFT HAND THREAD!! That's when the nut split in two and I had no choice but to purchase another. Long story short, it's back together and the washer doesn't smell anymore. Live and learn... Read more

Fix water leaking onto the floor or uneven tub filling with this upper water injector. Directs inlet water cleanly into the tub. Easy DIY replacement.
An easy fix for the most part. I had no idea what I was doing, but glad I bought both upper and lower injectors. Not sure why these are separate parts? Cheap plastic. I did not get the hose clamp because I didn't think I would need it. You probably do, so go ahead and just order it or grab one if you have one laying around. Mine is hooked up without it for now which I'm sure I will regret later but I needed to get our washer running immediately due to a bed bug situation in our house. Read more
Fix a loose or slipping agitator that clicks or ratchets during wash cycles. This spring restores proper tension inside the agitator assembly.
Found the wonderful parts diagrams you most generously share online and a couple of YouTube videos . I determined it should be repairable. In my cast the agitator shaft was frozen (rusted) in place. I was very fortunate to have been able to eventually remove it with the use of a lot of BP penetrating oil and heat. Long and short the replacement parts fit perfectly and the washer is running like new. Special thanks to the online support make my repair possible. Read more
