Description

This tub cover and gasket seal the top of the outer tub to contain splashing and prevent leaks during wash and spin. Replacing a cracked cover or compressed gasket restores a tight rim seal and cleaner operation. What it does:

• Creates a watertight seal at the outer tub rim
• Helps reduce splash-over and directs incoming water flow
• Helps keep clothing and debris out of the gap between basket and outer tub
• Common symptoms: leaks from the top/front, visible cracks in the ring, or a brittle/torn gasket

What's included:

• One tub cover and one perimeter gasket

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and turn off the water supply before servicing
• Access the tub area; release retaining clips/screws and detach any inlet/flume from the old cover
• Clean the tub rim thoroughly; seat the new gasket evenly and install the cover without pinching the seal
• Reuse existing fasteners/clips; ensure the cover is fully latched all around and do not overtighten
