Spun each of the three wash arms by hand. All could be made to touch/scrape but the top one was super wabbly. Ordered both the arm and clip. Repair took less than a minute. The foam was shot on the detergent cup lid. Hard as a rock. Causing caking problems, dribble down the inside wall of the door and leaving lumps of detergent. Cut the door in half wit aviation snips and pulled out the two halves. Discovered at this point that the spring had gone soft. Bought one ahead of time, so I was set. Put the spring on the left pin, put the spring pin in the door, slipped the door into place (open) and put the right pin in with pliers. Door snaps open now. Read more

I've repaired several appliances in my house by diagnosing simple problems going to AppliancePartsPro's diagram's, ordering the part and installing myself. Never had any problems. The bearing in the back of the dryer was tricky but worked great. Keep track of all parts when you disassemble and assemble in reverse order.
