This is the heating element located at the bottom of the dishwasher tub. It heats the water during the wash and rinse cycles and provides heat for the drying cycle. Replace this element if dishes come out wet or poorly cleaned, the water is not getting hot enough, or if the element is visibly damaged or broken.
Number one was turn the power to the dishwasher off. I disconnected the hoses under the sink. The dishwasher had to be pulled out from the cabinet. The old heating element easily came out and the new one put in its place. The instructional video made the repair very easy. Read more

Dishwasher worked fine except the top rack would keep coming off the rails, could see the rollers needed replacement. I found the videos on dishwasher repair that AppliancePartsPros offers and determined the likely cause of the problem. I removed the door cover and found soap caked on the back. I cleaned the cover and switched the wax motors to see if the clean rinse motor was good and ran a tested cycle. No improvement.
