Used the model number on the side of the wash door to do an internet search for a "control panel". Got an immediate hit of the Appliance Parts Pros site. This is the circulation pump motor with an attached impeller that forces water through the spray arms during the wash and rinse cycles. It is the main pump responsible for water movement inside the dishwasher tub. Replace this assembly if dishes are not getting clean, the dishwasher fills with water but does not spray, or you hear a humming noise without water circulation.
I was able to pull the entire basket/pump/motor assembly out from inside the tub I did not pull the DW out of the cabinet. I did not remove/disconnect the water line or even have to disconnect/cut power. I only removed the drain tube and drain pump. The rest came out from inside the tub. Much easier than I anticipated. There are some videos that demonstrate how to do this. I took my time and cleaned everything once I had it all out. Read more

I've been asking my husband for a year or more to get a replacement part for our dishwasher. The kick board in front used to stick out a little and had a black hole where the retainer clip should have been. It was clear that something was missing, and it just looked tacky. And the fact that it stuck out a bit meant that eventually, someone was going to catch their foot or shoe on the kick board and break it or bend it back and make it more obvious that a part was missing. I was almost mad... Read more
