Door Hinge Assembly
Genuine Lg part
By: Lg
Part Number: 4775ER2002A

The LG Door Hinge Assembly is an essential component of LG washers. This OEM replacement part is specifically designed to ensure the smooth and secure operation of the washer's door. The hinge assembly is responsible for connecting the door to the main body of the appliance, allowing easy access to the washing drum. It provides stability and durability to the door, enabling it to open and close effectively during the washing and loading processes.

This part fixes the following symptoms:

  • Difficulty in opening or closing the washer door
  • Door sagging or misalignment
  • Excessive noise or squeaking when operating the door
  • The door not staying securely closed during washing cycles
  • Visible damage or wear on the hinge assembly

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Washer door hinge had all but seized causing water leakage/unusable   Jean T. • Holyoke , MA • October 26, 2014

Replaced door hinge. The part from AppliancePartsPros was an absolutely perfect direct replacement. There is a video available which is very clear and straight-forward. But just as with a car repair, the video demonstrated the repair on a free-standing model that's brand new. In my case, the dryer was stacked on the washer, making this a 2-man job, at least for that part. Then there were a couple of screws that were corroded due to bleach use. (That's another issue with this washer I haven't... Read more

Washer Door Assembly
Genuine Lg part
By: Lg
Part Number: 3581ER1008Z

This OEM replacement part is a washer door assembly. The washer door assembly consists of the main components that make up the front door of the washer. Over time, a washer door can become inoperable due to excessive wear and tear. If the washer door is no longer shutting or opening properly or is damaged to the point of inoperability, it will need to be replaced. To replace the washer door, start by making sure the washer is unplugged. Once it has been powered off, proceed to open the door. Locate the screws that attach the hinges to the door. Unthread the screws and lift the door off from its hinges. Set the old door to the side and proceed to place the new door on its hinges. Fasten the screws that secure it. Once secured, open and close the new door to make sure it is functioning properly. This authentic OEM part is sourced directly from the manufacturer and is compatible with LG brand washers.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The glass broke on my front loading lg washer door   Christopher T. • Hicksville , NY • February 06, 2016

I contacted All Appliance Live Chat . The told me I needed to buy the entire door which was reasonably priced. They gave me the correct part number. I replaced the door by removing 6 screws (5 minutes) and the washer works fine. Very happy with Appliance Part. This is my 2nd successful repair using them. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Front loader leaking from front and bottom   Kyle B. • Baltimore , MD • January 27, 2015

I think it was leaking both from the front and the bottom somehow. The boot seal was pretty cruddy anyways so I figured even if it was wrong, it was time to replace. You basically had to take the entire washing machine top and front off. This takes a little bit of time and organization but is relatively easy. While you are doing all this you might as well clean all the filters and make sure none of the valves and tubes are leaking. Getting it apart was pretty easy. The hard part is putting the... Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You I have a lg front loading washer that was making a loud grinding noise on the spin cycle   Tim W. • Mckinney , TX • September 21, 2014

A repair man said a bearing was out and estimated repairs at $600+, or just replace unit. I researched parts and video online and decided to tackle repair myself. Appliance parts was very helpful in finding parts, ordering, and shipping. Online help is the only area that needs improvement as I was seeking help in identifying other parts that might need replacement since machine was torn down this far. I worked with several different agents as I was dropped several times. None were of much... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Ue error code just before going into spin cycle on my lg tromm front load washer model wm2077   Richard B. • Cheshire , CT • September 07, 2014

Replace the ball sensor. Also known as the out of balance sensor . Another confirmatory clue was when I ran the QC diagnostics . The moment I ran the first diagnostic test, the spin test, I got a bE (ball sensor) error code in the display and the drum would rotate slowly. When I replaced the sensor the drum ran at very hig speed the moment I entered the diagnostic. This was a good way to confirm in a few seconds that the sensor fixed the problem without having to run a wash load and waiting... Read more
