Unplugged range, removed back panel. Loosened plug block from range, unhooked wires from existing element, then sliced through insulation between element ends with sharp knife. Removed screws holding element ends then removed element. Inserted new element, screwed it in place, connected wires and replaced plug block. Checked the three door switches; used ohm meter to see if there was resistance or if a switch was bad. 2 out of 3 switches showed resistance with the ohm meter. I ordered the 2 energy switches from Appliance Parts Pros with the model number. After receiving parts I started. 1st disconnected the range cord. Remove the control panel at the front. Then one switch at a time removed connection & reconnect to the new switch one by one. Then removed knob & old switch. Secured the new switch & knob to panel. Did the same to the other switch.
