This kit is used to repair a leaking pump on GE made dishwashers. For a complete pump/motor assembly get WD26X10013.
The main conduit was broken and the pump connector had a hole in it. The pump also was showing signs of leaking. I completely disassembled the dishwasher cleaned everything and reassembled. The repair videos are a big help. Thank you. Read more
I replaced the upper and mid spray arms and bearings, removed filters and screens and cleaned everything. Pulled pump and replaced the connector and the collection sump. Repair took about 3 hours and went very smoothly thanks to the AppliancePros video! I'm on the east coast so I could not believe it when the parts arrived less than 24 hours after I placed the order! This was not an obvious source of a leak. The Tower Heater Assembly Nut developed a crack over time due to heat exposure. So the leak was gradual slowly getting worse over time. It was a hairline crack that ran down one of the edges of the nut making it hard to see. In talking to a pro he said it isn't a common problem.
