Pulled pump and replaced the connector and the collection sump. Repair took about 3 hours and went very smoothly thanks to the AppliancePros video! I'm on the east coast so I could not believe it when the parts arrived less than 24 hours after I placed the order! Prices were great too . . . I'm a customer for life and my dishwasher cleans the dishes like new now! Purandar D North Easton , MA February 22, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Dishwasher GLD5500L00WW Making noise from inside when dish washer was in use All four locking tabs in the Fine Filter Hub Nut were broken. The tabs easily break apart during removal of the nut for cleaning the drainage system underneath. When this nut is loose, the lower spray arm wobbles causing noise during wash and or rinse cycle. The metal bearing (an O ring basically) helps rotation of the lower spray arm smooth. Pictorial illustration for these two parts is very clear cut. Therefore, repair of the dish washer was easy and very gratifying. This washer is in use since 2005. It is still working very nicely and practically noiseless. However, it needed minor part(s) replacements from time to time. Appliencepartspros is indispensable for any DIY person(s). It saves time and certainly a lot of money for the home owners. Thank you!
