Tested the power to the unit by turning on the cooktop portion and saw that I had power to all of the burners. Turned the selector knob to broil and saw that the top element would heat up. The previous tenant in my daughter's new apartment apparently had a grease fire of sorts in the GE XL44 gas oven. Took top apart to find out that the problem was just the lens for the light was broken. Come to find out that the lens is what holds the light in place. Bought the drawer support, unscrewed the screw with a socket wrench, installed the new drawer support, wala! Took 1 minute. Moral to the story, don't overload that bottom drawer.
