Removed Phillips head screw from bottom side. Next I removed front electronic interface panel, carefully. Entire Samsung Ice Master is modular. Ordered the "ASSY CASE-FAN AUGER MOTO " part and replaced original...Removed ice basket. Removed Cover-Wire Harness by removing screw and unplugged both the modular icemaker and part mentioned above. Icemaker is removed by sliding forward and down. Removed refrigerator panel, disconnected light and fan power. Removed fan assembly and replaced motor, grommets and fan attachment spring. Unit had adhesive on spring to help hold the spring. Chatted with customer service and clarified that spring and fan would easily pull off motor shaft. Adhesive probably was extra measure used during original build of the fridge.
