Front caster wheel for refrigerators. Installs at the base to allow smooth rolling and repositioning. Replace if wheel is cracked, broken, or won't roll.
Used the video with the parts and replaced the wheels. The only thing we did wrong was using the front wheel axle instead of the back wheel axle on the back wheels. Purchased two new gaskets and replaced them. Hoping upper door will seal better and will pull open a little harder then before.Right now it pulls open very easy and I feel that it should pull harder. The freezer seems to be a lot better with little to no ice forming. I have been looking for information to see if there is something to put on gasket to make the pull on the door a little harder. Replacement axle pin for refrigerator front caster wheels. Installs through wheel assembly to secure rolling casters. Needed when bent, broken, or worn.
Samsung does not make it easy to replace the casters. The shafts holding the casters are crimped at the ends and had to be cut off with little room for any tools. I had to jack up the fridge and I used a hacksaw blade with a handle to cut through the wheel shafts. I didn't want to use a reciprocating saw. I couldn't find a way to crimp the new shafts so I drilled small holes at the ends and used cotter pins to retain the shafts in place.The rear caster had no room to slide the new one in... Read more

I looked at the blow up drawing to figure out what parts I might need. I then watched a you tube video to see how to take the handle off. I kind of figured out on my own how to remove the ruined cap handle. It took me a few minutes to figure it out and more time to remove both the handle and the broken part. Had to replace the (assembly lever dispenser; AW3) unit because the ice and water paddles could not be bought separately. Hold the touch screen child lock icon for at least three seconds until the lock indicates a locked position, this will allow you to disassemble and reassemble the electrical connections on the old and new dispenser without having to unplug or turn power off to the frig. Removed the bottom shelf by releasing the 2 clips near the water filter, then lifted the front of the shelf and slid it out. Removed 2 screws from the broken Vegetable Rail and replaced it with the new one. Slid the shelf back into place and locked it down into the clips. Done. I removed the broken rail saving the 2 Phillips head screws for installation of new drawer rail. Removal of the shelf above the drawers was required and was accomplished by pushing a button on the front of the shelf support. This is a small magnet that works with the reed switch sensor to detect whether the refrigerator door or dispenser drawer is open or closed.
