I looked at the blow up drawing to figure out what parts I might need. I then watched a you tube video to see how to take the handle off. I kind of figured out on my own how to remove the ruined cap handle. It took me a few minutes to figure it out and more time to remove both the handle and the broken part. Replacement rail assembly for refrigerator vegetable drawers. Installs on the side wall to support drawer gliding. Needed when original is cracked or broken.
Removed the bottom shelf by releasing the 2 clips near the water filter, then lifted the front of the shelf and slid it out. Removed 2 screws from the broken Vegetable Rail and replaced it with the new one. Slid the shelf back into place and locked it down into the clips. Done. We used the AP5306646 Assembly Cover part to replace the dispenser portion of the unit. There is a video on YouTube where the person explains how to get the old unit out. It was 1 screw and then a pulling motion. It takes a little bit of strength and finesse but it came out like the video.
