Bought and installed new hinges. Repair took about an hour but I also cleaned all the glass inside and out on both oven doors. I had ordered extra screws as I read the old ones that hold the hinges were hard to get in as they were self taping but the screw labeled 5 next to the hinge were not the right ones. All old screws worked fine. You just need to put a little power to them to get them started. Easy repair. Read more

I installed two burner ignitions under the knobs then installed a new spark module, which I had to order from a different vendor as this is a 20+ year old Caloric stove. Fortunately this spark module is used in many other appliances. Read more

Have a good old Caloric stove/oven but the horizontal design left the knobs open to grease and water dripping downward into the control knobs. This fouled up the sparking of the oven and one burner on stove. also the front 2 deteriorated burners were allowing some flames to pass under the stovetop. Sealed burner gas cooktop has to be removed from the counter top in order to disassemble. This means disconnecting the gas line. To disassemble the unit you will have to remove the gas line regulator. Once the unit is separated you will see the spark module. I replaced the module. Note: Because the new module has been updated from the original it does look different. I suggest you put the new module along side the old taking one wire at a time from the old to the new.
