Ice maker stopped working or water dispenser won't stop? A faulty water inlet valve often causes these issues. Simple 15-20 minute DIY repair with video help.

I then looked closely at how the water valve 2-way was installed and removed it. Then I connected the water supply lines for the water and ice then connected the water valve line and I was done. I have a large Samsung 4 door refrigerator. One of the rear wheels broke. To replace it, you need the wheel and the shaft. To lift the refrigerator for the repair, I had my wife stand in front of it with her foot on a board that was wedged against the front wheels. I then pushed the refrigerator up from behind and slid a 3/4" piece of plywood underneath the bottom with my foot. This gives you enough space to do the repair. After removing the back cover, it's best just to knock out the broken... Read more

Replacement axle pin that secures roller wheels to the refrigerator base. Needed when original pin is damaged, corroded, or broken during wheel replacement.
Samsung does not make it easy to replace the casters. The shafts holding the casters are crimped at the ends and had to be cut off with little room for any tools. I had to jack up the fridge and I used a hacksaw blade with a handle to cut through the wheel shafts. I didn't want to use a reciprocating saw. I replaced the temperature sensor, the thermo fuse, and the heating element that thaws the evaporator on a cycle to keep the evaporator from freezing up. I disconnected the fridge the night before and placed a fan on low with the doors open so that it was thawed out when I awoke. It was easy to remove the evaporator cover once I removed all of the shelves. I took pics as i was... Read more

Refrigerator warm but freezer cold? Temperature sensor monitors temps for proper cooling. DIY repair takes 30-45 minutes with panel removal.

Also, note that on my model there was a screw behind the long, narrow LED light strip. That strip had to be unplugged and slid down to access the screw. There were also screws in each of the lower light fixtures. 3. Removed temperature sensor on the top of the bottom panel (I used a pliers to open up the white clip that holds... Read more
