Replacement axle pin for refrigerator front caster wheels. Installs through wheel assembly to secure rolling casters. Needed when bent, broken, or worn.
Samsung does not make it easy to replace the casters. The shafts holding the casters are crimped at the ends and had to be cut off with little room for any tools. I had to jack up the fridge and I used a hacksaw blade with a handle to cut through the wheel shafts. I didn't want to use a reciprocating saw. I couldn't find a way to crimp the new shafts so I drilled small holes at the ends and used cotter pins to retain the shafts in place. The rear caster had no room to slide the new one in... Read more
Replace your broken or cracked refrigerator upper shelf. This assembly installs inside the fridge compartment to restore storage space and organization.
Replaced shelves. The frig is only 4 years old. I believe the shelves were designed/made incorrectly. I never overloaded the shelves. I called Samsung, obviously, they would admit any wrongdoing. On top of that, they wanted $35 plus tax. And on top of that they were not in stock and would ship in 7-14 business days. I will email you pictures. Regards Dave Read more

Self-tapping screw for dishwashers, dryers, refrigerators, and washers. Replace missing, stripped, or damaged screws for secure panel and component mounting.
The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. All other controls worked and there was no error code displayed. The repair was to replace the whole control board which cost around $100. Heavy sigh.. Be sure to keep track of all your screws. BTW it was not the thermal fuse. All the online videos say this is the first thing to look for when the dryer will not start. Be sure to check with the person... Read more
Display showing missing digits or buttons not lighting? This LCD control board assembly fixes unreadable screens. Easy DIY repair—1 screw and 2 clips. Video included.
Simple replacement, found some help online: disconnected fridge, removed one screw under the dispenser, flat screw on tabs on the sides, close to the front, pulled it, disconnected the panel assembly, removed 3 screws on back of display-panel cover, removed panel. BEWARE that if you are buying this model of display-led panel, now these are NO LONGER coming with the plastic screen. When I opened the part coming from AppPartPros it was missing the screen, called them, told APP it was missing the... Read more

I replaced the temperature sensor, the thermo fuse, and the heating element that thaws the evaporator on a cycle to keep the evaporator from freezing up. The most time consuming part of the repair was waiting for the fridge to thaw out so that I could remove the cover. I disconnected the fridge the night before and placed a fan on low with the doors open so that it was thawed out when I awoke. It was easy to remove the evaporator cover once I removed all of the shelves. I took pics as i was... Read more

Mounting screw for refrigerator door hinges and internal components. Replace if stripped, missing, or damaged during hinge repair or door removal.
Ordered the pieces from here. Downloaded the user manual. I never work on appliances but I couldn't justify the $200 a service tech would have charged to fix a $35 part. Followed the manual and removed the door. Replaced the broken plastic pieces. BE VERY CAREFUL not to strip the screws. I did and that's another story. Very easy to fix. You will need a second person to help guide the door back onto the frame. Read more
Plastic cam hinge riser that supports and aligns refrigerator door hinges. Replace when cracked, broken, or causing door misalignment or loose fit.
Replaced the upper and lower cam riser (plastic parts) on the lower hinge. APP's YouTube video was the reason I decided I could do this myself. My daughter helped. :) Tip: replace both the upper and lower even though the lower usually breaks first. The upper will sustain damage from the jagged edges of the broken lower one. I also bought the replacements for the refrigerator side. They cost less than the freight charge and seems like they will fail eventually since they're the same... Read more
Replaces cracked, broken, or missing dairy door cover in your side-by-side refrigerator. Restores compartment function and appearance. Snaps into place.
Disassembly is a little tricky. First, with a #2 phillips screwdriver, remove the single screw to the left of the ice chute/water dispenser. You'll have to get down low and look up from underneath. Next, underneath on either side, there are little slots with arrows pointing to them. Take a small straight slot screw driver and insert in each slot while gently pulling on the clear ice chute. It will pop out bottom edge first. Keep pulling out and up. The whole screen will pop out. Let it hang by... Read more
Fridge light won't turn off or alarm beeping constantly? This door switch detects when the door opens or closes. DIY-friendly repair with video guide.
I thought that I needed to repair the water supply. But it all looked OK. I had turned the power off for a few minutes hoping to clear any false info from the numerous power outages. And with hours of research, I found some info about the door switch on top of the freezer. It suggested placing a magnet above the switch to silence the noise. This did the trick. Shortly after I heard the ice maker filling. I tested the water feed, and it was working. I then ordered a new switch and replaced it.... Read more
Fix loose or broken ice dispenser flap causing ice spills. This cover assembly restores proper ice chute operation. Moderate DIY with video guide.
I was buying a part for my other refrigerator and decided to replace the ice tray on my LG, as it was not emptying properly. When I found the part, I also saw a video attached to the ice dispenser parts. I had taped over the ice dispenser years ago and would just open the freezer for ice. Watched the video and they sure made it look easy to replace that flap, so I decided to give it a shot. I replaced the ice tray as soon as the parts came in, but did not have the time to tear off the front... Read more
