I read on line about other such ovens doing the same thing mine was doing, absolutely nothing! I even read stories of a major retailer telling customers to throw the microwave away. I took the advice of another buyer and replaced the magnetron, capacitor, and diode from my microwave (make sure you discharge the capacitor). GE Microwave/Convection Oven. Removed case (carefully). Tested in-line power cord fuse with multi-meter. Fuse was good. Noticed a scorch mark on a wire connected to the oven cavity thermal fuse.
