The Turbidity Sensor is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. It is a component located inside the dishwasher that plays a key role in monitoring water quality during each wash cycle. The turbidity sensor detects small food particles and residue in the water, relaying this information to adjust water temperatures, spray pressures, and cycle times accordingly to achieve optimal cleaning results.
Causes of failure could be normal wear and tear over time, mineral buildup affecting the sensor's ability to read water quality accurately, or damage from electrical faults.
Symptoms of a bad turbidity sensor include:
- Inconsistent or inadequate cleaning performance
- Extended cycle times
- Error codes displayed related to water issues
This genuine OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and select Kenmore models.
