Removed back of dishwasher with hex screw driver 5 min Unplugged power cord 30 secs Loosened metal bracket on top and bottom with screwdriver 5 min Pushed dispenser in and removed from dishwasher 5 min Positioned new unit in space and snapped into place 1 min Plugged electrics back in 1 min Screwed back on 3 min Roughly 20 min. After we saw that progressively our dishes were not getting clean we investigated the condition of the spray arms and this upper feed tube assembly. This pressure chamber is part of the water level sensing system in the dishwasher. It connects to the tub and the water level sensor, using air pressure changes to detect how much water has filled the machine so it knows when to stop filling.
