The Hinge Lever (RH) is an OEM component specifically designed for Bosch dishwashers. This right-hand lever is a part of the dishwasher door hinge assembly, working to open and close the door during each use. Causes of a bad hinge lever can include wear and fatigue over thousands of opening and closing cycles. Damage can also potentially occur from any impact or denting of the door surface near the lever mechanism. Symptoms of an ineffective hinge lever include:
This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore dishwashers.
Ordered the full hinge piece and an extra bushing. Was able just to slide the dishwasher forward a bit, lift the right side hinge off its seat and pop in the new bushing without disassembling. Fixed! Fix a broken or cracked dishwasher handle cap. This end cap secures to the door handle. DIY-friendly repair takes about 20-30 minutes with basic tools.
One end cap was broken but I ordered 2 since the shipping was the same price. I replaced both by removing the Tork screws on both sides of the door panel (one side at a time). There was a bolt on the inside panel of the door that secured the end cap. I replaced the end cap and tightened the bolt moderately so as to not crack the plastic end cap. Total job was 30 mins replacing both end caps and including figuring out how to get to them. NOTE - be careful to not open the door panel sections... Read more

Replacement water feed tube that delivers water to the upper spray arm in your dishwasher. Replace if cracked, split at seams, or leaking due to wear.
After we saw that progressively our dishes were not getting clean we investigated the condition of the spray arms and this upper feed tube assembly. We found a huge crack on the side of this piece and new not enough water was getting to the arms. We also noticed a build up of soap and lime. So we ran a cycle of vinegar and sprayed the filters and arms with lime-off-sprayed them out with a air hose "completely". Many of the small pieces of lime will clog the holes in the spray arms. Attached the... Read more
Dishwasher won't stop running or stuck in drain cycle? The control unit coordinates all cycle functions. Moderate DIY repair with multiple screws.
We looked around on the internet to see if others had the same problem. It appeared that about 95% of the time it was the control panel. There was a YouTube of the repair that we watched. What convinced us was Appliance Parts Pro's promise that the part could be returned if it didn't fix the problem. Before we took off the old part, we took a picture of how the wires were plugged in. The dishwasher now works perfectly! Did I mention that we are in our mid sixties? Read more
