I used a set of ring pliers to remove the old retaining ring, then spread the plastic ribs around the fan motor shaft with a small flat bladed screwdriver to ease removal of the old fan blade. I reversed the process to replace the blade, gently tapping a socket from my socket wrench set placed over the motor shaft and ribs with a small rubber mallet. Replaced original (18 yrs.) 1/4" plastic tubing, clamp and grommet (AppliancePartsPros/GE parts) from outlet of ice maker water control valve to ice maker inlet. The auger gearbox shaft had a spot that was stripped of threads which prevented the auger drive from spinning the ice down the chute. I replaced the auger motor/gearbox assembly, the auger drive as it had to be cut off the shaft, and the 3 mount bolts that hold it all in place.
