I first checked to make sure the washer was level. The washer is on a concrete floor. After watching lots of you tube videos I ordered all the parts that could be causing this problem. I ordered: Balance Ring, Suspension Pad Kit (3 rectangle plastic wear pads), Tub Suspension Pads(3 curved plastic wear pads), Suspension Spring, and a Spanner Wrench tool. After getting the washer apart it was obvious that the problem was the Tub Suspension Pads they had completely worn away so that only the... Read more

First I looked at the many you tube vids, and there are many. appliance parts pros pretty much shows you how to deal with the parts. I changed the brake shoes and the clutch assembly which also comes with the driver cam. I also changed the metal brake operating cam. I think that brake lockup or improper brake release was the problem that broke the plastic cam driver. This was the broken plastic part making all the ticking noise. I first changed the coupling on the motor but that wasn't bad. in... Read more
The Washer Fill Hoses are OEM parts for various washing machines, specifically designed to transport hot and cold water from the home's supply lines to the washer. Symptoms of bad washer fill hoses include:
These washer fill hoses are compatible with a variety of washing machine brands and models, ensuring a secure and efficient water supply.
Motor control board was flashing 4 times, indicating that the mode shifter had an error. I disconnected the mode shifter's wire from the controller and measured the resistance between the 2 leads with an ohmmeter. Since the reading was infinite, that meant that the mode shifter coil or in-line thermal sensor was electrically open, i.e. bad. As this fix is near a complete tear-down of the washing machine, here are a few tips I discovered. 1) the hub nut is difficult to remove and you need a... Read more

I tested the Atc. mid level switch, with my multi tester and found it was not sending enough current to the cold water inlet valve, so it would not open and let cold water in. I replaced the switch, (it was a snap) literally it snapped in place. replace the front face and turned the water back on and plugged in the washer, and turned it on. It worked perfect and has been since. good and easy repair even for a novice like me.. Read more
This console screw secures the control console to the appliance cabinet or top, keeping the panel tight and aligned. Replace a missing or damaged screw to stop panel wobble and rattling and maintain a snug, stable fit. What it does:
THIE REPAIR WAS ON A WHIRLPOOL TOP LOAD WASHING MACHINE At first I suspected the leak was from the pump because I had replaced the pump 2 times over 10 years. This time with the cabinet removed and filling the tub with water, I saw water running down one of the steel support arms that go under the tub, so I was guessing that it was coming from the tub seal. I had to use a jumper wire to bypass the Lid Switch so the water would drain. Several months before I had this issue with the water leaking... Read more
This small clip secures the washer's agitator assembly. It holds components in place so the agitator engages the drive properly, helping restore steady agitation and preventing looseness or rattling during the wash cycle.
Found that by manually spinning agitator one direction it seemed free, but spinning counterclockwise it seemed to stick a little. Pulled dispenser and agitator and found the agitator washer hole was oval rather than round. Replaced the agitator washer and the washer seems to sound normally for now. Not sure if the new agitator washer will eventually grind down due to non-circular action from the transmission, or if the agitator and clip will keep the transmission centered long term. Should... Used to lock washer cabinet to rear wall of washer.
After looking at several YouTube videos, we decided we could attempt to fix this ourselves. We found the easiest video to follow from Appliance Parts, and ordered the clips and lid switch assembly (the clips we had to replace because we goofed that one ourselves). The parts came within a couple of days. The repair took a little over 1/2 hour only because we had to re-do some steps because my husband was over anxious and did some things without reviewing the video. Overall, it was a very... Read more

This washer clothes mover is the upper portion of the agitator assembly.
I had replaced the Agitator cams a couple of times already due to my brother-in-law overloading the machine which stripped the teeth off of the cams. I also noticed the agitator seemed to 'wobble' and made 'knocking' noises quite a bit. I reviewed the video on the Appliance Parts Pros web site, disassembled the agitator and cleaned everything up, which helped a little, but not enough. Figuring the agitator itself was worn out also, I looked up and ordered all the parts for the upper agitator on... Read more

Finally, plug in electrical power then a water hose and test a new part just installed. So far so good, seem like everything was function OK. Again, thanks for your web... Read more
This rear panel support is the structural bracket that secures the appliance's rear cover/backguard in place. Replacing a worn or broken support restores proper alignment, helps protect internal components, and reduces vibration noise.
In the end, with a new coupler. But I relearned old lessons the hard way. The washer is in a rental unit and the tenant complained of no spin. My first intuition was that the coupler failed again because I bought a cheaper one elsewhere a couple of years ago and not the brand name available here at AppliancePartsPros. But we’ll come back to that. Lesson #1: Verify the symptoms firsthand. I dug in right away, popped out the motor and the coupler appeared okay. When I spun it by hand, it turned... Read more
This motor shield covers the drive motor on top-load washers to deflect splashes, lint, and debris away from the motor and wiring. Replace a cracked or missing shield to help protect the motor assembly at the base of the machine. What it does:
This locking nut is used for many purposes on a range of machines including household appliances. This nut is often used for leg leveling for machines. It will help with vibrations from washers and dryers. If the nut is used for this purpose and goes missing or becomes damaged, it could cause the machine to vibrate more and seem louder.Nuts are made from metal and are built to last a long time. However, there can still be issues that arise. In some cases, the nuts might go missing if they become loose and the machine is moved. They could also corrode over time and need to be replaced. The replacement of the nut is typically a fast and simple repair. The nut is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced from the manufacturer. It can work with washers, dryers, and combo machines, and is compatible with models from Whirlpool, Kenmore, Maytag, and Roper. The part is sold individually. Owners may want to have several on hand.
