Replace burner and receptacle. The product arrived promptly after order and the receptacle came in a factory Whirlpool bag, indicating it was a genuine Whirlpool part. The burner did not have such identification, but works very good. I've placed 3 orders with these folks for various broken appliances, and each one has worked as advertised and performs like new. Knowing from a previous repair, that there was only 3 parts that could be bad. I decided if I was going to take it apart to change all 3. Not having the proper test equipment, it was cheaper to replace the 3 parts than pay a repair person. Read more

I ordered the heating element by phone and when I promptly recieved the part I watched the installation video provided on the website and easily changed out the part. My refrigerator is over 10 years old but I am currently buying a home which will have a refrigerator in it so buying a new one at this time was not needed. Unplug range. Open oven door to gain access to the cook top lock-down screws, located under the front edge of the cook top. Tip the cook top up and carefully remove it by pulling forward. Set aside in a safe place. Remove old, burned-out, element by removing the single lock tab, located on one of the three mounting posts, then lift up. Leave the wiring attached. I found my model number on AppliancePartsPros.com very easily and found the new element and temperature sensor kit. The temperature has always been a little off, so I figured I needed the new sensor. I am glad I also ordered the element. When I took everything apart I discovered that the wire connector had burned off and the element was no good anymore. Ordered parts, defrosted refrigerator, and replaced with new items.
