I replaced the Timer knob components. Removing the cover that contains the Timer was simpler than I anticipated. Just remove the screws on the top of the back of the machine. Hold the cover and lift up and push to the left (facing the front of the washer). Removed the Timer Knob Clip with small needle-nose pliers. I googled the error code and symptoms my oven was exhibiting to determine the solution and which parts to order. Removed torx screws attaching stainless liner to outer stainless door. Lift off inner door and carefully separate the electronic components from where they snap into the control panel. Relocate electronic components to the new control panel. Reattach the inner liner with the torx screws. It is helpful to have an extra set of hands to hold the control panel while making the electronics swap to avoid pulling on the wiring harness. An aluminum drip pan was placed into the bottom of the oven thinking that it would make for easier clean up......Don't Do It! It melted to the bottom floor of the oven and could not be removed. It was infused with the coating on the floor pan, thus making it permanently damaged. I could not find specific online instructions for this job. Here are some tips. 1. Unplug the washer. 2. Unscrew the dial on the broken timer. 3. Gently pry up the thin plastic place-indicator plate (the thing with the arrow under the dial) with two flathead screwdrivers. 4. Unscrew the two hex screws holding the old timer in place. 5. After some simple troubleshooting, determined that it was likely the (rear) main control board. Once the new board arrived, it was installed in 5-10 minutes once the refrigerator was pulled out from the wall and the area cleaned up a bit.
