Ordered Bake Element, Y04100019 (Whirlpool AP4283614) to replace a broken bake element on my 30-year old Jenn-Air Model S125 Downdraft Slide-in electric range. Received the element very quickly but it had been damaged in shipping. Called AppliancePartsPros to report this and they quickly shipped another element - very easy process.
To install the element, I turned off the power to the range, put on rubber gloves (just in case) and removed the two sheet metal crews at the rear of the oven -...

Removed 1 year old microwave to paint kitchen internal thread assembly stripped Joel L. • North Richland Hills , TX • December 01, 2016
I took the machine screws out of the outer panel for the right side only. Then pull the panel back a bit to release the lips from the front of the machine and had immediate access to the internal assembly that housed mounting nut.
Order the new parts from AppliancePartsPro.com during the Thanksgiving week. Still received via FedEx in short time due to their same day shipping - which was greatly appreciated and surprising. Most small part places take a while to get the product out the door,...

Part Number: WB02T10017
This is a genuine OEM replacement nut that is used on convection oven fans. This nut holds the fan onto the spindle. If the nut becomes lost during repairs to the fan, it will need to be replaced before the fan will work. This nut locks the fan to the spindle to turn and move the air around inside the oven. The fan helps the food to cook more evenly and reduces areas in the oven that are not cool enough or hot enough. If the fan is not working, the convection oven will not cook correctly.Convection ovens are different from regular ovens, and the fan is part of the reason. Convection ovens use the fan and an exhaust system to move the heat around inside the oven to cook food more evenly and faster. Many convection ovens have a setting that allows the oven to be used as a regular oven. If the nut is missing and the fan is inoperable, the oven can be used for regular cooking if it has this feature. Otherwise, the convection oven should not be used until the nut is replaced. This nut is a silver metal replacement part that is sold individually. It is designed for use in convection ovens made by GE and Kenmore.

Convection fan screaming like the undead are coming Diego G. • Eden Prairie , MN • February 04, 2017
I took the cover off and the fan had separated from the bushing.
Ordered a new fan and nut and it took all of 5 minutes to replace.
Probably saved $159.99 service call repair and that is with a coupon.
Any one can do this repair, just make sure the oven is cold as you will come in contact with metal parts.

Freezer gasket replaced by 77 year old lady Patricia R. • Florence , OR • July 09, 2017
I purchased a freezer gasket + key// from appliancepartspros.com //easy to order. I did not need to lock up my freezer but thought it might help the gasket seat (good thought). To replace gasket I started at top of door, wow, I should have started at bottom. Hated laying on my "belly" to screw in gasket. Ok, I am 77 years old but got the job done. All went okay until I had to close the door, the door would not stay shut. Key: I locked the door for a week. New seal is settling in, freezer is...

Broken dryer baffles Ann B. • Bridgeport , NY • September 20, 2014
I am a 78year old woman and 40 years ago I replaced the belt on a dryer but could not even consider such a feat today. I ordered the parts from you on line and also found the video that you very nicely have attached to the site and I saved this under my favorites. The baffles arrived within 3 days and due to my age was unaware that dryers now come in two sizes and the ones I ordered were for the smaller but same model. I worked with a very nice customer service agent on line who got me the...

I accidentally stepped on the door of my Samsung dryer. The door is intact but brackets bent. Margaret C. • Tampa , FL • June 07, 2018
I am so blessed. I went online. Found the brackets. Watch the video for the brackets I chose. And lucky me. I did not have to pull the dishwasher out. The installer did not have it flush under the counter. So I was able to pull the dishwasher forward unhook the damage brackets and insert the new. Put the dishwasher back in. Two screws. Now the balanced and secure dishwasher washes better than ever and I did not have to pay an extraordinary fee for a repairman. I'm 68 and take care of a 72 year...

Two fo the burner retaining clips had broken and one of the burners was malfunctioning Michael G. • Renton , WA • December 05, 2015
It went very easily. The two original clips were riveted in the top but a small drill bit cut the last of the rivit free and the clips remainders just fell out. There was no damage to the stop top. The butner simply snaps in to its socket so that was easy to replace. Pulled the old one out and put in the new one.
