I had to pull and clean the pressure sensor switch four times in a year. Each time more gunk accumulated. When that happens the sensor does not close the water valve. The dishawsher keeps filling and the water comes out through the overfill port. The water then goes in the catch basin under the washer and floats the emergency switch. The ordeal began after wiping around burner knobs with a moist paper towel with cleaner and wrapping the towel around the burner knob shaft to clean around it. The cooktop stopped sparking on all the 5 burners and no red LED light. There was gas flow and I could light the burner using a lighter. Saw the same problem described by other users. The part was very reasonably priced, so I took a chance that it was the cause of the problem. Part showed up within 2 days ! I thought initially it was a hose because it was leaking water from the bottom. On the small and medium load it didn't leak. I watched it on the large setting and noticed the water didn't shut off initially so therefore it was over filling. I ordered a switch pressure switch from Appliance Parts Pros and received it in two days. I replaced the switch, put the washer together and now it works like new. I was searching the web for solutions and came across two folks who had similar trouble code. One fixed his by removing the pump strainer from the pump to find coins blocking water flow, thus the analog water pressure sensor provided a failure response. My issue was solved by following the other hints I got. I ordered a new sensor (switch). It was expensive for what it is, but the washer will not run correctly without it! This was a very simple repair. It was done in about an hour. It involves disconnecting the dishwasher, emptying the water from the inside, taking it out and flipping it over, and replacing the diverter motor. This repair is done on the underside of the dishwasher, nothing to disconnect inside (just remember to remove the baskets).
