So far so good after a week. Put a meter on the bottom switch. Meter showed no connection then slowly pushed switch and it intermittently showed connection before hearing the button click. Good switches only connect after the click sound. The switch was failing intermittently.

We isolated the problem via YouTube videos to a faulty switch. We broke a piece of the switch holder when removing the switch and had to also order that part in addition to a new switch. Once everything was reassembled, the microwave worked again!

After doing some checking with my multi-meter, it was the middle switch on the door that was bad. Replacing it was easy, if you can fix things yourself. You can save a lot. I replaced one of the thermostats also.
