Replaced: condenser fan motor, defrost timer, defrost thermostat (bi-metal), and added a heat probe.
Fan motor obviously shot... hard to turn by hand. Defrosted for 48 hours, cleaned & bleached drain tube. Never tried to test the old timer or bi-metal but it now runs perfectly and tightly maintains 39/0 degrees with dry fridge. When reassembled and powered up, compressor did nothing... Removed 2 sheet metal screw pulled element out about 2 inches. Removed two Spade connections. Removed the element from the oven.
Inserted the new element into the over, connected the two spade connector. Reinstalled the two sheet metal screws. Set the oven to bake for testing and tested until the element turned red.
Total time less than 5 minutes.
