Ordered spare part that actually fit my oven. Arrived in three days from next state over. Unplugged power cord, removed racks, used 1/4" socket on ratchet with 6 inch extension to remove two sheet metal screws at lower back of oven. Pulled old element out 2 inches then tilted front of element up 45 degrees for spade connectors to clear holes at back of oven. Took out old element,got part number and look for the cheapest price online, Appliance Parts Pro could not be beat... order part be number, easy to match, came in fast and put in element, only needed a 5/16 nutdriver to take it out and put it in,unpluged wires and bent just a little to keep one on left and one right from getting mixed up and pluged up new element and ran in the 2 screws,easy job, dont get no easier.. I finally found the right serial number and found the part at Appliance Parts Pros. I was skeptical that they would send the element that had the correct rear brace fixture. when it came 2 days later i opened the box the Part was correct and it took about 15 minutes to replace since there are only two screws. I checked repair videos on line. Put in my brand and model. You tube had a video how to dis assemble my model. Video made it really easy, I would never have figured it out. Now checked videos from Appliance Parts Pros to troubleshoot the fix. Checked all thermostats and fuses with ohm meter they checked out perfect. DISCONNECT CIRCUIT BREAKER!!!. Remove oven door. Remove two screws that attach the element to the back of the oven, and two screws that secure element to the oven roof, then remove element. Had to be careful that the four wires don't slip into the back of the oven (difficult) to keep them from falling back as they are very short. Remove and replace element. Did research to determine what might cause problem. Determined that it was either the infinity switch or the triple haliant burner. Watched several YouTube videos on testing the infinity switch, but none exactly replicated this switch.
