Timer Control Knob Parts

Shut power off to unit. Took cook top out and removed metal cover to remove electrical board. Replaced with new one. Was just 5-6 connections that couldn’t be mixed up. Fairly easy fix. Works like new. Read more

Replaced defrost heater assembly then changed the cooling thermostat. Read more

Replaced numerous items including this Inverter and two control boards but the Magnetron was the ultimate solution. The tip was clearly burned through when I removed the original. Read more

Removed the front off the back panel, unplugged the old unit. Then using a blow dryer heated the old timer to peel the face /cover off and applied to the new clock. Plugged in the replacement clock. Replaced the front of the range. The only complaint I have is we were not informed that a new face would not be included and the old one would have to be removed and applied to the replacement clock. Had to replace the switch for the left rear burner on a Whirlpool cooktop Model W5CE3625AB00. I turned off the circuit breaker for the cooktop and lifted it out of the countertop. It was simply held down by its own weight. There were approximately a dozen screws holding the smooth surface down onto the rest of the unit. • Fridge too warm

I determined that this was the part to get based on a previous reviewer's post who had a similar problem. I bought the controller, it shipped quickly and I received it two business days later. I followed the instructions of the previous poster and had the device installed in about an hour. The most difficult part or should I say tedious part was unscrewing and then replacing the panel and screwing everything back in. Turned off the power. Pulled out the stove. Removed back of upper part of stove. Removed old control board. Took photos with phone to make sure I got wires back on correctly. Only 1 wire was difficult to remove and required gentle rocking with pliers. Put the overlay on the new board. Placed all the clips and wires back on the new board. Turned on power to test. • Timer will not advance

My dryer would only start (and keep running) after a lot of fiddling with the timer to find a position that "worked." The machine wouldn't turn on when the timer was set in the dry-sensor region, and eventually, it stayed running only when we pressed the timer button. As soon as the pressure was off, the dryer stopped. Clearly that wasn't sustainable.
