The repair went well although I did have a slight problem with the door latch and the soap dispenser lever. They both fell out as I was trying to install the timer, but I went back to the video and although it didn't show how to replace these two parts I was able to see how they were placed and was able to figure it out from there. Replaced control board with OEM part from ApplianceParts Pro - fit exactly and remedied the problems. Simple to replace - turn off power (circuit breaker), remove internal door panel, remove control board cover and unplug wires/LED leads (the LED lead connectors on the board have a square tension slip ring around them that hold the leads - just pull these up away from board and they will release the leads) and then remove the controller board housing. PROBLEM - MY LG RANGE (LRE3091ST) STARTED TO HEAT BUT WOULD NOT GET TO THE FULL TEMP, IT SHUT OFF & GAVE US AN F-11 CODE. I did a little research on the internet. I check to make sure it was getting power with Ohm meter. I took the front panel off to see what I could find. I found 2 dead roaches in the control board box and there was some brown stuff on the control board. I checked the price to replace the part online and local. AppliancePartsPros had the best price and return policy. I figured I had nothing to lose be trying the part out to see if it would work. I installed the new board and it was alive again.... I repaired the problem by replacing the Power Board assembly and the daughter relay board. Not sure which one was the problem. Since I had it apart I replaced both. So far the unit is working like new. Everything was plug in, so I didn't have to worry about complex wiring. I took pictures prior to disassembly to make sure I got the reassembly right. Worth the effort to fix it- very satisfying. Read more

Very easily!! Although the stove in the video was a different setup then ours , it worked. We took the face of the stove off, took out the 9 screws holding it on. Checked the wire attachments against the new unit and plugged in in. The only thing I wished I'd known, the actual face( with the words oven etc.on it) needed to be peeled from the original unit. It came off pretty good and is usable but would have been nice to have a new one. Read more

This couldn't have been simpler! Removed the glass panel by taking out 4 screws on the bottom that were accessed by opening the oven door. Lifted up, then pulled the panel forward, released one electrical connection, and the panel was disconnected and could be laid on a flat surface. Unscrewed the four nut screws on the old control board with a socket set (you could use a small wrench, but it would be tedious), un-clipped the wide ribbon connection ( had to pry it off very gently to avoid... Reconnected Broiler element power wire and replaced relay board. Hardest part of project was pulling oven unit out of cabinet. The rest was very easy, just a matter of dismounting old relay board (two Phillips head screws) re-mounting new board and unplugging wiring from old board and connecting to new board. Read more
