Burner didn't turn on Bruce H. • Granger , IN • August 18, 2015
I replaced both the element and the switch. It was a relatively easy fix, although I needed a second set of hands to hold the stovetop upright while I did the replacement. The entire job took about 45-60 minutes.

Right burner had cracked and was inop Aaron B. • Jacksonville , FL • February 01, 2015
Good info on the webpage. Took me about one hour to repair which is longer than expected but that included cleaning up the pans and rock which was overdue. Here is the process: 1)Turn off breaker and verify no power; 2) remove cooking grates, rocks, and steel grates from both sides (for access and weight reduction); 3) remove a total of 10 Phillips screws from inside the pans on both sides (8) and the temp control knob box; 4) Now you can raise the pan so you can access the nuts from the...

My dryer wasn't heating Jesus V. • Kissimmee , FL • March 27, 2017
PLEASE UNPLUG DRYER FIRST. This was my first attempt at trying to fix my dryer (Maytag SDE515DAYW). Order the element kit Part Number AP4046564. The installation was easier than I thought. Just removed the two front panels and I was able to reach the back of the dryer, under the drum (this is where the heat element was located), disconnected the wires (took pictures first) and removed the two screws that held the heat element. Pulled the part down and it just slid off. Connected all the wires...

I took some part numbers from the underneath side of the burner along with the stove model number and entered them on the internet and luckily found the part that I was looking for - I purchased it and it was delivered very quickly (faster than I expected). I took pictures of the burner before taking it apart and then removed the broken burner and replaced it with the new burner, put all the other parts back together and it worked perfectly the first time I turned it on. Refrigerator tripping arc fault circuit breaker William H. • Wilmot , WI • June 27, 2015
White Westinghouse refrigerator door was accidentally left open over night when it was humid, and moisture condensed on the interior. In the morning the arc fault circuit breaker was tripped. Tried letting the unit dry out, but it would still trip the breaker as an arc fault. Started unplugging various components, compressor, evaporator fan, finally the defrost heater before it could be plugged in without tripping the breaker. Although the defrost heater's resistance measured normally, when it...

Genuine Bosch part
By: Bosch
Part Number: 00097855
This convection ring element supplies the heat for the oven's convection bake and roast cycles. Replacing a failed element restores even convection performance so foods cook properly across multiple racks.
- Provides the heat source for convection modes; the fan circulates air across this ring for uniform baking
- Common symptoms of failure: no heat in convection, very long preheat, or uneven results during convection cycles
- Visual clues include cracks, blistering, or burn-through on the element band
- Electrical clue: element tests open/infinite (OL) with a multimeter when power is disconnected
What's included: One 240V/2400W ring-style convection heating element with terminal ends. Install notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing; this is a high-wattage circuit
- Access varies by model: remove the rear panel or the interior convection cover to reach the element and terminals
- Note wire locations and transfer leads to the new element one at a time
- Ensure the element sits flat and does not contact the cavity walls; tighten mounting screws snugly
Specs: 240V, 2400W

Front left burner stopped working. Joseph T. • Brooklyn , NY • April 13, 2020
I ordered a new burner and switch. Received all parts in only one day. Shut breaker, pulled out the range to work on it. Removed the front panel to replace the switch first which was the easy part of the job, only 6 screws. Installed new switch, turned on the breaker to test and found that the burner heated up proving that only the switch was bad. Shut breaker again, reinstalled front panel, reinstalled the range and turned the breaker back on. Just in time for Easter dinner! Returning...
