Pitted rusted burner and brass ring eaten away by rust Damon B. • Tumwater , WA • January 09, 2016
Flip the burner facing down. Take out the seven screws that hold together the housing and the slip off the housing. Disconnect the igniter leads. Turn the burner clock wise from the opposite side your likely working. You'll get a better purchase there. Take the screws out of the old igniter, as they don't come in with the new igniter. Install the new igniter on to the new burner. Make sure that the igniter is poking all the way out of the whole in the burner. I found that the screws did...

The washer sounded like a jet plane when it went through the spin cycle very loud noise Lane C. • Pleasant Garden , NC • February 24, 2015
I originally thought the washer had a bad bearing, but once I got it disassembled it the spider arms were broken. This required the replacement of the tub assembly. While replacing the tub I replaced all of the water bellows. The parts came quickly, the live chat and videos were very helpful. This washer has to be completely disassembled to replace the drum, so mark all the screw locations, tag and bag everything and take lots of pics. It was a very rewarding project and hundreds of dollars...

Genuine Ge part

Part Number: WE2M163
This is a small screw, and it is made for dryers, washers, and washer dryer combos. This is a genuine replacement part made by General Electric. Screws are common in these appliances and can cause many difficulties if they become loose, damaged, or missing.A new screw might be needed if there are areas in the appliance that seem off balance or not level. Another way to tell if a new screw is needed is if there are parts in the appliance that are loose or falling off. This is common over many years of normal use as the shaking of washers and dryers can eventually lead to loose screws. Be sure the washer or dryer is completely off before attempting to replace any screws. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually and is compatible with washers, dryers, and washer dryer combos made by General Electric.

This is a fastener and retainer assembly that secures the blower wheel to the motor shaft inside a dryer. It keeps the blower wheel firmly in place so it can properly circulate hot air through the drum and out the exhaust vent. Replace this assembly if the blower wheel wobbles, makes rattling or squealing noises, or if the retainer nut is stripped or broken, causing poor airflow and longer drying times.

Two baffles had torn out as the screw heads came through the holes Scott B. • Katy , TX • December 21, 2015
I ordered two new baffles and 7 screws. I also ordered 6 large washers. We were running with one baffle held by only 2 of 3 screws. It appears that a repairman in the past had removed the large washers and over time, the screw heads reamed out the hole, causing the baffles to detach and break. In about 15 minutes, I was able to tighten up the existing baffle and add the two new ones. I also added the 6 big washers to help strengthen this to prevent future issues. I no longer have to listen to...

Genuine Frigidaire part
By: Frigidaire
Part Number: 216594300
The Starter is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire refrigerators. This component is crucial for initiating the compressor, which is responsible for cooling the refrigerator. The starter works by providing the necessary electrical power to get the compressor running, ensuring that the refrigerator maintains the correct temperature.
Causes of a bad starter can include electrical malfunctions, wear and tear over time, or damage from power surges. A faulty starter can prevent the compressor from starting, leading to cooling issues.
Symptoms of a bad Starter include:
- The refrigerator not cooling properly
- The compressor not running or frequently cycling on and off
- Unusual clicking or buzzing noises from the compressor area
- The refrigerator being warmer than usual or food spoiling quickly
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.
