Pretty easy fix with replacement part from AppliancePartsPros -- but there's a catch: The eight control buttons, not the on/off button, all look alike, but they need to be installed in a certain order for them to work once you install the panel. No instructions for this and the repair video (by the tech Simon) does NOT make this clear. It took a lot of time and repeated installations to figure this out. Troubleshot the oven by checking the broiler which worked good (same fuel valve). After reading the some tips about troubleshooting the Glow Ignitor I could see the broiler ignitor got white hot and the oven ignitor only got bright orange (orange to red causes intermittent ignition or mini explosions). Watched the how to video and it was good information. You should be observant about which openings in the back of the oven as to where the two wires are coming out of. My oven is over 12 years... After 8 years of yanking to open our Bosch dishwasher (SHE45M06UC/50 model #) the plastic front panel cover started to break off (one of the tabs on the left side broke off). The shipping was super-fast, so got the part within 2 business days. Just need to remove the lower Torx screws (3 on each side) which hold the lower front panel to the dishwasher to get access to the screws holding on the control panel, swap the buttons and silver handle, and replace. Did some research to find out it was the electrode. Pulled out the old one to match what was on your site. It came in no time at all, and the replacement was a cinch. Read more

Removed torx screws attaching stainless liner to outer stainless door. Lift off inner door and carefully separate the electronic components from where they snap into the control panel. Relocate electronic components to the new control panel. Reattach the inner liner with the torx screws. It is helpful to have an extra set of hands to hold the control panel while making the electronics swap to avoid pulling on the wiring harness. For door balance kit I just followed the video, straight forward. Read more

After 4 years of heavy use nearly all of the facia assembly's plastic attachment tabs were broken. This caused the facia to pull away from the door while trying to open the dishwasher.
