Unplug oven! Remove the faceplate by pulling off knobs and removing 4 plastic nuts from burner switch knob stems. Then remove 6 (combination #2 square and Phillips) screws and remove the metal backing plate. Unscrew two small screws in front to remove the burner switch from the backing plate behind. Here's what the problem was: Started the 'Normal' cycle... I closed the door... it calls for water, water fills, ECS sensor doesn't kick it to the next segment of the cycle (wash), so the water over-fills and reaches the over-fill sensor. So many other are replacing the plastic 'case-brake,' main board, and the ECS sensor. The replacement part was: CONTROL OVEN ERC3HP Part Number:WB27K10378 It looks like this superseded the original part, so maybe the mfg knew about this issue? I could not find disassembly instructions so just went straight into it. Ordered an new Control board here. Killed gas and power supply. Pulled oven. Opened rear bottom panel. Labeled all wires to control board with “new” locations using electrical tape. Included instructions were great! Pulled all cables. Removed old and reinstalled new control board. Attached all wires to new locations. Tested... Success! Better than ever. Board replacement time - 3 hours total. Time to clean oven back to new... 3 days. Saved us $2k for a service repair or $7k to replace the unit.... Read more

After taking the top off the washer I found the Tech Data Sheet ( for repair person ) The E53 code was listed as Low Voltage to the motor board and referred me to test #15. Which stated to check the "drum water NTC" ( Negative Temperature Coefficient or Thermistor). What was misleading was that there are 2 NTC's. If your washer has a "Sanitize" feature , then there is a drum water NTC as well as one on the fill valve body. IF you have the sanitize feature then you need to replace the drum water... Read more

Checked compressor windings - ok. Start relay looked no rattle or burning. Start capacitor seamed ok but hard to check. No 120VC to start relay at any time. Ordered thermistor, and electronic control unit. Figuring it was a bad thermistor not telling the ECU it was warm and to turn on the compressor. Or the ECU was damaged and was not sending the 120v to the compressor. Changed the thermistor first (cheapest part and as Appliance parts pros has a return policy I wanted to start there). ...
