I noticed something was wrong when the dishwasher no longer remembered the last cycle performed. After it finished, it would go to a default cycle. A couple of weeks ago, my husband said it wouldn't start. Then I noticed on subsequent washes, there was a high probability that it would hang at a random part of the wash cycle. • Touchpad does not respond

My son-in-law checked it out, posing questions to an electrical support group, and determined I needed another control unit. NOTE: This had happened 3 years earlier, while the unit was still under warranty thankfully, but the certified repairman told me it would have cost me "out of pocket" over $400.00 to replace. My son-in-law ordered a replacement board, which arrived within 3 days. He then installed it and my machine now works like new! Read more

About a year ago, the washer was doing a similar thing, where it would shut off before the spin cycle started. The coin trap was completely clogged then, so I checked it first this time. It was clear, so I took the drain pump out and checked that as well. Nothing seemed to be physically wrong with the machine, so I put it in diagnostic mode, which gave me error code 43 when I tried the spin cycle. This one of the codes for a bad control board. I noticed my oven would suddenly stop heating during cooking, but the over lights and temp gauge would all appear to be working properly. Took 10 minutes. Upnplug or turn the power off to the Refig/Freezer. One screw to take off the plastic cover plate where the light LED Assembly is attached and carefully unplug the LED Assembley from the Freezer and remove the cover plate from the top of the Freezer . Unscrew the old LED Assembly from the cover and install the new LED Assembly. Plug the LED Assembly into the Freezer and carfully insert plastic cover plate in the freezer and replace the cover pate screwscrew. Read more
