Rotor Assembly (Direct-Drive Washer Motor)
Genuine Lg part
By: Lg
Part Number: 4413ER1001D

This rotor assembly is the rotating half of your washer's direct-drive motor. It mounts to the rear of the tub and, working with the stator, spins the drum for wash and spin cycles to restore smooth operation.

  • Couples with the stator to drive the inner tub during wash and spin
  • Helps resolve no- or slow-spin complaints
  • Can address a drum that won't turn or turns intermittently
  • May reduce grinding/clicking from the rear caused by damaged rotor magnets
What's included: One rotor assembly. Install notes:
  • Unplug the washer and turn off water supply before servicing
  • Access from the rear; remove the center bolt and pull the rotor straight off the shaft
  • Magnets are strong—keep fingers clear; align splines/keyway on reinstallation
  • Tighten the center bolt securely and inspect the stator and sensor while open

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Le error code on the lg washing machine   Brian M. • League City , TX • July 18, 2015

I checked three separate components, based on similar experiences of other friends. The water pump was ok and the stator look ok (no electrical burns, wiring was fine, etc.). After viewing a You Tube video of a washing machine making a similar noise as mine (metallic grinding sound when spinning), the video suggested the problem was a bad sensor. Replaced the sensor assembly (had to first remove the stator assembly in order to access the hall-effect sensor) and this solved the problem. ... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Maytag clothes washer would not spin or drain   Ben M. • Wallingford , CT • September 29, 2018

The washer was on, and I heard a faint humming sound in the laundry room. I went in and opened the washer and it was full of soapy water in the middle of its cycle and was not agitating. I also smelled a faint burning smell. At this point I figured the problem was a bad motor, as the washer is more than 20 years old. I have fixed it twice before, because the first time, the repairman said I should keep this washer going as long as possible. It was made to last with a metal drum, unlike newer... Read more
