Insert Control Panel Parts

I had previously replaced the pump about 1 year ago. That was not the problem. Still leaked the same way - intermittently, but always in the center of the washer onto the floor. I unplugged the freezer, removed the old control board by prying it out with my hands and then pressed in the new control board with my hands. The freezer functioned normally after it was plugged into the wall outlet again. Someone with large hands or short fingernails might benefit from the use of a straight blade screwdriver while prying out the broken control board. Read more

Looked at new part and realized there were only 2 screws that held the flap onto the door. Removed 2 caps off of screws with small knife and saved them. Removed 2 screws and the flap fell off into my hands. Disconnected wire harness. Connected wire harness for new flap and carefully pushed harness back into recess in door. Put screws back with caps. Closed the door to test and another wonderful job completed by homeowner! Read more

Ordered two boards which were indicated as the possible problem. I took detailed pictures of each board before removing to assure I was reconnecting all the connections correctly. I used a long set of needle nose pliers to remove each connector. The tricky part was trying to figure out how to remove the boards. So far when I experience a power loss the frigid has successfully restarted. Fingers crossed!! Read more

Replaced the timer - This should have been a VERY easy repair however, there is a clip (holding the timer to panel) on the bottom of timer than must be removed with a pair of pliers. There is absolutely NO room to access this clip so I had to take apart much of the dryer to gain access. What should have been a 15 minute repair turned into a frustrating hour. Read more
