Ordered the part and installed myself. Received payout from home warranty of $750 since they could not source the part quickly. I decided to order the part online through appliancepartspro since they were the best price. Repair was very straightforward and easy. 10 screws around the cooktop for easy removal, longest part was vacuuming out the old glass. The cooktop set into place and really did not need any sealer since it was heavy enough to sit back in place without moving. Read more

I turned off the breaker to the Cook top, I then got under the counter and pushed the cook top through the opening in the counter, placed the cook top over the opening on the counter to stabilize it and then I used a Phillip head screwdriver removed all the screws , lifted the broken glass and put on the new glass, replaced the screws, placed the cook top back into the opening on the counter and turned back on the breaker. This is the lower access panel, also called a toe panel, that attaches to the front bottom of the washer. It covers the internal components beneath the drum area and provides a finished appearance. Replace this panel if it is dented, cracked, rusted, or if the mounting tabs are broken, leaving the lower portion of the machine exposed.
Watched the video a few times for door boot seal replacement. It was a lot of help! The spring is the hardest to replace and I did enlist the help of my wife. Everything went back on great. If you have to replace the front panel (with the buttons) be mindful that the buttons are spring loaded and will come out. I did not lose any and it went back together just fine.
