First, cleaned all the dirt and lint from the condenser radiator, the fan motor is in a metal housing holding the fan motor in place. look carefully and there is a sheet metal screw at the bottom of the housing, 1/4 inch screw head sheet metal screw. Ordered Impeller and Shaft Seal Kit which came overnight. Easy to put in after watching the video. While installing I found that Inlet Sump was ripped and ordered the part which came overnight. Trickier to install but thought it went well. Even though Shaft Seal probably was not the problem it did need replacing. This was a two and half year issue as different things failed at different times. I would get one part, then another would fail. Ultimately, I got to a point where what failed, I hadn't been ordered the part yet. The seal on the freezer door took three bathing's before it plumped up and un-creased. The main conduit was broken and the pump connector had a hole in it. The pump also was showing signs of leaking. I completely disassembled the dishwasher cleaned everything and reassembled. The repair videos are a big help. Thank you. Read more

I googled the issue and read several articles. Most started with cleaning the coils (which mine are on the bottom) (19yr old Kenmore 363.9557812). I had not really ever cleaned them well, vacuuming did little. I had to remove the cardboard cover off the back of the frig, and blew them clean (front to back). I stood by the dishwasher as it went through the cycles and noted the noise only happened during the drain processes. To make this repair you have to take the dishwasher completely out from under the counter. (NOTE: print the schematic to help guide you to the location of the part and connections.) Ordered a new Fan motor after referencing Model Number. Part was delivered in a timely matter. Unplugged Refrigerator from wall. Used a socket to remove bolts from. Cardboard access cover and also to remove Fan bracket to remove old fan and unclipped connector. Fan Blade and the two rubber grommets I reused on new replacement motor.
