Original Whirlpool light bulb, 40 watt.
Symptoms of needing to replace the light bulb include:
I have a Jennair jjw9630cas double wall oven, and after a few years I noticed that the light would not go out, first in the bottom oven, and then in the top oven. After doing some research I discovered this was not uncommon, and the fix usually involved replacing the hinges and/or the hinge receptacles. It didn't look like a difficult fix so I ordered four new hinges and four new receptacles, which arrived quickly. I found a video on YouTube that showed how to replace the hinges and it... Read more
Fix F1 error codes and temperature control issues with this oven temperature sensor. Takes about 15 minutes to install—just 2 screws and plug-in wiring.
First of all Appliance Parts Pros is the best!! I would not have had the confidence to make this repair myself without their outstanding videos and Q&A sections on their website. And their prices for parts are very competitive. Like many stories on the website, my oven would heat up beyond the temperature set point. When it reached the target temperature, the lower heating element (I think this is the “bake” element) would shutoff, but the top element (“broil” element I believe) would remain on... Read more
Oven won't heat or bake properly? A faulty bake element is likely the cause. Located at the oven bottom, this part heats for baking. DIY repair in 15-60 min.
I finally found the right serial number and found the part at Appliance Parts Pros. I was skeptical that they would send the element that had the correct rear brace fixture. when it came 2 days later i opened the box the Part was correct and it took about 15 minutes to replace since there are only two screws. My oven works fine now. THX Read more

I determined the hidden bake element below the oven cavity was not working, because the bottom of the oven was cold during normal use. If you have a built-in microwave + oven combination (mine is KitchenAid Model No. KEMS308SSS05), this is a difficult repair. The engineer who designed this oven should be invited to succeed elsewhere. It is impossible to access the bake element from the inside of the oven, so the How To video associated with this part will not help you. I had to remove the... Read more
The Oven Insulation is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool ranges. Properly insulated walls are necessary to prevent heat loss through the oven exterior, ensuring consistent and even cooking from the inside out.
Causes of bad insulation
Took the stove apart*, saw where the mouse had made a nest. It was kind of like a hotel room after a rock star had used it. It was nasty, is what I'm saying. I removed the insulation, which immediately went into a garbage bag and was placed outside, whereupon I took off and nuked the site from orbit. It was the only way to be sure (actually it was disposed of in the proper manner, no nukes were detonated in the course of this repair). Anyway, I ordered the insulation from this site, which was... Oven not heating or heating slowly? Your bake element likely failed. Located at the bottom of the oven cavity, this part restores even baking. Easy DIY fix.
First I removed the (3) wire shelves. Removed the bottom cover by removing the (2) screws in the back. This exposed the oven element. Removed the (2) screws holding the mounting bracket on the front of the element then removed the (2) screws on the silver bracket that holds the back of the element. I carefully pulled the element forward which pulls it out of the back of the oven. I pulled slightly on the (2) wires attached to the element in order to get a small amount of slack to remove them... 1) ordered new boiler element after searching for oven/stove model # online 2) unplugged oven 3) removed 2 screws holding element in place 4) pulled out the element and a length of wires attached to the element (enough that the wires wouldn't pull back into the hole after detached) 5) used needle-nosed pliers to detach wire clamps, noting which wire attached to which side of the old element 6) removed old element and its pieces from the bottom of oven 7) attached wires to new element,... Removed range top, and put on a flat surface. Unclamped two power supply wires, one ground wire and one thermocouple wire from the element. Unscrewed the bracket from the element, and remove the element from the range top. Remove the two clamps from the old element, and put them on the new element at the same... Read more

DIY. The delivery to Milwaukee took two days. The project was very easy and took about 1hr. The only tools required were a screw driver (electric) and a pliers. Broil element not heating or broken? This part provides intense radiant heat for broiling. Straightforward DIY replacement takes about 15-20 minutes.
I had the choice of spending $2K on another double oven stove or $60 on two elements. (I felt more secure about replacing both bake and broil elements just in case the fire had damaged the bake element) It was an easy decision and quick replacement! Power was already off to the stove so I cleaned up the fire retardent mess. I even found easy instructions dismantling the oven door in order to clean the powder residue from between the glass. I then removed the rack and remaining old elements. I... Read more
