I have a Jennair jjw9630cas double wall oven, and after a few years I noticed that the light would not go out, first in the bottom oven, and then in the top oven. After doing some research I discovered this was not uncommon, and the fix usually involved replacing the hinges and/or the hinge receptacles. I am going to post the online site address w/my praises on my facebook page for my friends that live on ranches many miles from appliance repair shops & towns. The Oven in our house is for sure over 20 yrs old it was in this home when we bought it, the home is 33 yrs old & the Oven is a Wall Oven, there is not room for a standard Oven in this Kitchen. Tested the power to the unit by turning on the cooktop portion and saw that I had power to all of the burners. Turned the selector knob to broil and saw that the top element would heat up. I then turned off the breaker to the unit. I then decided to take out the baking element to do a continuity test. When I touched it, a 1.5 inch section fell out. I used a set of ring pliers to remove the old retaining ring, then spread the plastic ribs around the fan motor shaft with a small flat bladed screwdriver to ease removal of the old fan blade. I reversed the process to replace the blade, gently tapping a socket from my socket wrench set placed over the motor shaft and ribs with a small rubber mallet.
