Protective cover for your dishwasher control panel with printed cycle graphics. Replace if cracked, faded, or damaged to restore appearance and protect buttons.
Covers and protects the control panel and touchpad. Replace if cracked, broken, or worn. Includes chrome trim ring. Requires door disassembly to install.
Had to remove the door from the main body of the dishwasher and then take the outer door apart from the inner door. Find a good video that showed how to do this but it was not exactly like the model of GE dishwasher that I have. Once you know how to remove the panel it went fairly quick. But in removing the inner door I broke the one end of Attach Strip Rh so I order a new one plus in taking the Graphics Asm apart to get to the UI board the small tab that holds everything together broke off. The control panel on your dishwasher's door houses the cycle selection buttons and indicator lights. Replace if cracked, worn, faded, or missing.
Removed torx screws attaching stainless liner to outer stainless door. Lift off inner door and carefully separate the electronic components from where they snap into the control panel. Relocate electronic components to the new control panel. Reattach the inner liner with the torx screws. It is helpful to have an extra set of hands to hold the control panel while making the electronics swap to avoid pulling on the wiring harness. For door balance kit I just followed the video, straight forward. Read more
Black control panel touch pad for your dishwasher door. Replaces cracked, non-responsive, or worn keypads. Installs on the front panel with screws.
After some research I found others having the same problem (all buttons worked except the Start button, and the system would work using the "Reset" / "Test" button combination - although I forget the combo). Read more
Replaces a cracked, broken, or damaged dryer control panel backsplash. Mounts behind the console to secure switches and knobs in place.
After unplugging the dryer, I removed knobs and control panel. I removed the 3 connectors to start switch. I had to cut and replace one connector due to shorted wire which burnt the connector. I attached new connector and then attached these to start switch. I then remounted all three switches to new control panel and reattached control panel to dryer. Plugged in and started right up! Thank you for the helpful video. Read more

This is a relatively easy repair. Here are detailed instruction to replace the Control Panel. Tools Required: #15 and #20 Torx drivers. (Power tools not recommended) THE INNER SHELL DOES NOT HAVE TO BE COMPLETELY REMOVED There are 10 perimeter screws that secure the inner shell (#15) to the outer shell and six screws, three on each side (#20). Two of these screws secure the Controller Bracket and 4 that secure the spring loaded hinge to the inner shell. These six screws don't have to be... Read more
Console assembly with integrated touch pad for your dishwasher door. Replace if buttons are unresponsive, panel is cracked, or display is damaged.
Searched Google for error code, found some info indicating the touch pad was the problem. The info I found was not completely clear. I was concerned I might order a part that would not solve the problem, but with the return policy I figured it was worth the shipping cost to try the repair myself. Ordered and replaced the part. Problem solved. Read more

Ordered new GE part through AppliancePartsPros.com. Looked on Youtube for some assistance in how to replace part. This entailed removed outer door cover and removing old touch pad strip. Replacement touchpad control panel for your dishwasher. Installs on the front door exterior. Needed when buttons are unresponsive, cracked, or worn.
After reading online I decided to attempt installing the control panel. For this particular model, I removed 4 screws at top inside (2 center are longer fyi). There is one more holding the panel in the center, but the front door panel needs to be removed. There are screws all along the inside. Remove those and slide the door panel up and out. Next, remove the last screw and then unplug the wire connector. Replace in reverse order. I did not kill the power to the unit while replacing. It however... Read more

White control panel touch pad for dishwashers. Installs on the door front. Replace if buttons are unresponsive, worn, cracked, or discolored.
We were worried we would have to buy a new dishwasher, as our buttons weren't responding and the dishwasher wasn't cleaning well. But it was only 2 years old, and it really feels like dishwashers should last longer! We decided the two issues were separate, and decided to try to see if we could tell where the electric problem was. When we took off the door and the control panel box, we could see discoloration in the wires through the plastic strip covering them. I googled for the dishwasher... Read more
