I have a Jennair jjw9630cas double wall oven, and after a few years I noticed that the light would not go out, first in the bottom oven, and then in the top oven. After doing some research I discovered this was not uncommon, and the fix usually involved replacing the hinges and/or the hinge receptacles. I took the cover off the transmission and determined that the only possible knocking had to be coming from the yoke. I ordered a new yoke and all the tub seals needed to put it back together like new. I also ordered a new drive pulley bearing because this bearing is always turning whenever the washer is used. After dismounting the unit from its wall-hanging bracket, the most tedious part of the repair was removing over a dozen screws holding the cover in place from the top, bottom, and both sides. Fortunately, I had placed the unit on a bench that allowed me to slide the unit allowing access to the screws on the bottom edges of the unit. Checked the three door switches; used ohm meter to see if there was resistance or if a switch was bad. 2 out of 3 switches showed resistance with the ohm meter. The last one tested (of course the last one) NO (normally open) did not show resistance; I.e. the ohm meter reading did not change when the switch was depressed. One day my wife went to bake something and the bake/broil buttons as well as #3, #9, and oven light ceased to work. Local repair guy came by and wanted to charge $500 to fix it....YEAH RIGHT! Did a little homework and found this website, spoke with knowledgable staff who pointed me in the right direction. I looked inside and saw the teeth were worn off the "dogs" so I purchased the Cam Agitator repair kit and a new bolt. Getting the old bolt out was the hardest part since it was worn and rusted. I ended up having to buy a set of socket extensions and a set of stripped bolt sockets so $45 in tools and it took me an hour to get the old bolt out but putting everything back together was a breeze. Removed microwave from the built in cabinet (probably the hardest part) and took off top cover (screws on side and back). Had previously blown the power fuse 2 times in this microwave, so I checked the fuse first using an ohmmeter. This time fuse was good. Traced the power wires around to top side of microwave and saw the overheat "therm" switch.
