I have a Jennair jjw9630cas double wall oven, and after a few years I noticed that the light would not go out, first in the bottom oven, and then in the top oven. After doing some research I discovered this was not uncommon, and the fix usually involved replacing the hinges and/or the hinge receptacles. It didn't look like a difficult fix so I ordered four new hinges and four new receptacles, which arrived quickly. I found a video on YouTube that showed how to replace the hinges and it... Read more

I watched a video by AppliancePartPros, and it showed the exact problem that I was having as well as what part that I would need for the repair. So I ordered the part which was and oven igniter, that also turned out to be the exact replacement for my old igniter. The part came in the mail in a about 3 days and I was able to install it myself in about 20 minutes give or take, with simple hand tools, then I did a quick test and everything worked fine. Fix oven temperature issues, error codes F3E2/F3E0, or uneven cooking. This oven sensor is a straightforward 10-minute DIY repair with our video guide.
When bake was set, the stove would function normally, it would show pre-heating then get up to temperature and beep twice like normal when it reached the set temperature. Shortly after it would start beeping and scroll “ fault detected, press start to try again” across the display. Pressing start did not resolve, the message would continue to post and the pizza inside was burnt. We noticed the broil element was glowing. This model stove does use the broil element for backing but it... Read more

Oven won't heat or ignite? This igniter kit solves slow heating and ignition failure in gas ovens. Moderate DIY repair in 30-60 minutes.
Followed linked video instructions and replaced with new flat style Oven Igniter Kit. Some repair info background, while out shopping for a replacement oven ($1000 plus) a terrific salesman listened to the issue with my current oven and recalled his same issue and solution. I thanked him for his time and recommendation. I went home and searched "oven Ignitor" where I was led to this website. The video showed the same exact flat oven igniter and how easy it would be to replace it. I immediately... Read more
Mice nesting in your oven? Replace damaged insulation wrap to restore heat retention and cooking performance. Wraps around oven cavity. DIY-friendly.
Took the stove apart*, saw where the mouse had made a nest. It was kind of like a hotel room after a rock star had used it. It was nasty, is what I'm saying. I removed the insulation, which immediately went into a garbage bag and was placed outside, whereupon I took off and nuked the site from orbit. It was the only way to be sure (actually it was disposed of in the proper manner, no nukes were detonated in the course of this repair). Anyway, I ordered the insulation from this site, which was... Oven not heating properly or showing F3 error? The temperature sensor likely failed. Simple DIY fix—unplug, remove 2 screws, replace sensor.
Online videos made this seem an easy fix. I unplugged the oven and removed the rear panel, then found where the temp sensor entered the oven. I unplugged the sensor's electric connector. Unlike the videos, this sensor screwed in from the inside of the oven, so I had to remove the 2 screws inside the oven which hold the sensor in place. Then I pulled the sensor out, careful not to tear the insulation with the wires and connector. Then I just pushed the new connector through the same hole and... Read more

First of all Appliance Parts Pros is the best!! I would not have had the confidence to make this repair myself without their outstanding videos and Q&A sections on their website. And their prices for parts are very competitive. Like many stories on the website, my oven would heat up beyond the temperature set point. When it reached the target temperature, the lower heating element (I think this is the “bake” element) would shutoff, but the top element (“broil” element I believe) would remain on... Read more
Burner won't light or spark? This top burner igniter creates the spark to ignite gas on your stovetop. Easy DIY repair in under 5 minutes with a screwdriver.
After many years of excellent service the burner I use most often on the top of my JenAir range rusted through. After trying to remove the burner, which was firmly rusted into place, I decided to replace the cooktop pan, both burners and igniters. It was an easy repair to swap out the new parts for the old, and the only tool necessary was a #2 phillips screw driver. The only difficulty was that although the cooktop pan appears symmetrical, the screw hole pattern on each side is different. I did... Read more
