This replacement sealing gasket restores a tight, leak-resistant barrier between mating components in your appliance. Replacing a worn seal helps prevent leaks and moisture escape to keep performance stable and reliable.
We replaced the black door seal gasket around the front of the dishwasher. The old black seal gasket had begun to deteriorate, every time it was touched black stuff would rub off onto hands and onto utensils in the upper basket. We wore some disposable gloves to remove the old seal to avoid getting the black stuff on our hands. Before entirely removing the old seal gasket we studied its placement to tell which way the new seal gasket should be placed. We didn’t want to place the seal gasket... Read more

After first thinking I had a leak under my sink (dripping into my workshop in the basement), I quickly traced the source back to my Bosch dishwasher. I removed the bottom kick plate (phillips screwdriver) and could see a continuous drip from the Water Inlet Valve. Easy to see because the Water Inlet Valve is mounted in front. I shut off the power to the dishwasher at my breaker box and turned off the water to the dishwasher. First, I easily disconnected the power clip at the back of the Water... Read more

I bought the door and bottom seal and was already to go. Appliance Pro got the parts to me in 2 days. I changed the control board (00498022) in the door of my Thermador dishwasher. Thermador, Bosch, and Siemens all use the same board for the indoor controls and display. This required a #15-star head driver to remove the screws. I used an impact wrench (set to a low torq setting) to speed things up. There are approximately 12 screws to remove. Two are long. The rest are short. Be careful to hold the door together as the last screws are removed. Everything comes apart easily and you do not... Read more

Using instructions I obtained over the internet, I first removed the DW's bottom cover panels so I could look inside the DW (with a flashlight) while it was running. I had to put their dishwasher through several wash cycles before I could pinpoint the location of the leak. (The water appeared to be coming from above on the left side of the DW, near the top, rear of the DW's blue "Pressure Chamber." Thinking that the problem likely lay in either a malfunctioning Pressure Chamber or in a... Read more

I bought just the replacement lid based on other reviews. The door cost about a third of the whole soap dispenser module but took a chance it was just the lid.
