Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Door gasket was deteriorating leaving black marks on anything that touched it.   Janice C. • Piney Flats , TN • August 26, 2023

We replaced the black door seal gasket around the front of the dishwasher. The old black seal gasket had begun to deteriorate, every time it was touched black stuff would rub off onto hands and onto utensils in the upper basket. We wore some disposable gloves to remove the old seal to avoid getting the black stuff on our hands. After first thinking I had a leak under my sink (dripping into my workshop in the basement), I quickly traced the source back to my Bosch dishwasher. I removed the bottom kick plate (phillips screwdriver) and could see a continuous drip from the Water Inlet Valve. Easy to see because the Water Inlet Valve is mounted in front. I shut off the power to the dishwasher at my breaker box and turned off the water to the dishwasher. First, I easily disconnected the power clip at the back of the Water... Read more

I bought the door and bottom seal and was already to go. Appliance Pro got the parts to me in 2 days.
