Replaced the entire burner. Four screws to remove front hinged pane lon front of stove One screw on each end of support bar for burners, Two clips holding burner on support bar. Two connections to burner. Four connections to thermostat.Remove all and replace in reverse order. New part requires one jumper wire on burner. Read more

Read the reviews on your site and watched your video and decided it was worth a try to fix rather than to replace stove. Ordered the igniter for the oven then I also ordered the igniter for the broiler as it was sluggish as well. When you go, go all the way. Only problem I had was with the wire nuts, wish that something more substantial was provided. Got the stuff quickly, as promised and installed as per video and oven and broiler work like new. Tappen Gas Stove circa 1981 (uses Fridgidaire parts). Unplugged stove from 110 wall outlet. Spark control module located on back side of stove about mid-way down on left side under a black cover that juts out. Black cover had 2 phillips head screws...removed the black cover and the spark module was right there...held on by 2 additional phillips screws. Originally, we had mistakenly provided the wrong model number for our Frigidaire cooktop so the wrong part was sent to us. It didn't fit properly so we investigated the problem with one of the customer service reps at Appliance Parts Pro and finally resolved the situation.
