My Tappan Range, which I paid a grand total of $65.00 for, and have been using since Katrina, (Katrina in 2005 is how we measure time in South Mississippi.) I live in an old house, and I am old, too. Bought a used Frigidaire 36 inch stove. The broiler didn't come on but the burners lit and the stove worked so I made do for about 4 or 5 years with that. Then the F10 code came up and it wouldn't stop beeping until I unplugged it. I figured the electronics/circuit board was probably bad and ordered a replacement. I ordered this glass and used a youtube video to replace the shattered glass step-by-step. I was a bit wary of doing this work myself, but it proved to be a snap. Within an hour of finding this package on my front porch, I had the oven as good as new. Read more

Had to pull double oven and range top out from wall which involved removing the upper kitchen cabinet. Took the sheet metal off the back and had the socket swapped out in a couple of minutes. My old oven works like a charm! Read more

I purchased 2 new light rocker switches, Because the heating element rocker switch was unavailable. First I removed the power source for safety. Then I simply pulled each switch out individually with a flathead screwdriver for leverage. I simply unplugged the wires from the old rocker switch, discarded the old rocker, plugged the wires into the new rocker switch, and pushed the new switch appropriately back into the control panel.
