Did this by numbering the wires and then switching the two switches b/w the right and left front dual burners. Success, the switch was fine but kinda disappointed cause this part was less expensive. Proceeded to then order the left front dual burner. Arrived in a few days, packed well. We unplugged the appliance, as it been a...

This is the large surface heating unit for an electric range or cooktop. Replacing a failing unit restores consistent stovetop heat so cookware warms predictably and meals cook evenly.
- Provides the heat source for the large burner position on an electric cooktop
- Converts electrical energy into controlled cooking heat
- Replace if the burner won't heat, heats intermittently or unevenly, or shows visible breaks, blistering, or burn spots
- Loose, pitted, or discolored terminals can also indicate the unit is failing
What's included: One large surface unit. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing and allow all components to cool completely
- If your model uses plug-in coils: lift slightly and pull the old unit straight out of the receptacle; align and push the new unit straight in until fully seated
- Inspect the burner receptacle for heat damage before reassembly
- Restore power and test operation on low and high settings

Our original surface unit large broke and we wanted to replace it. William M. • West Hartford , CT • May 21, 2020
Originally, we had mistakenly provided the wrong model number for our Frigidaire cooktop so the wrong part was sent to us. It didn't fit properly so we investigated the problem with one of the customer service reps at Appliance Parts Pro and finally resolved the situation. The proper part was purchased, it was sent to us and we were happy to discover that it fit perfectly, as did the drip pans we ordered. Problem solved! Thanks to Garrett C.
